Almost Half Way

    Tom tells me we have almost half of our principal footage shot as of this week. I suppose its a testament to how much work we've all put in to this, and how busy I am personally, that I haven't blogged 'til now. The project has been a blast so far, though the hours of filming are long and tiring. Standing around and looking pretty is tough, man. Well, at least standing around is.
    Character development has been coming really well. I can definitely approach situations in the script and interpret them with a "What Would Brian Do" mindset. Most of my acting with Amanda is sadly coming to an end, but we had some awesome moments. I'll just assume that if scenes felt intense for me as the actor, they'll feel intense for the audience too.
    I'm really looking forward to getting to finally work with Aja more, since the relationship between Alex and Brian is really the centerpoint of the film. Our chemistry is developing, and will be more so when we actually get in front of the camera a few times.
    Andrew and I have decided that he's gonna have to hit the gym hard if he's really gonna kick my ass in the upcoming fight scene. I have a good 50 lbs on him as it is. But you never know, Chris could be a tough little man. Like Napoleon. Chinese Napoleon. From California...
